Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-08-13

1. Acceptance

By creating a Peptidia account or using the iOS app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Peptidia.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Peptidia. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older. Peptidia is not intended for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or active cancer; if you indicate any of these conditions during onboarding, certain features will be unavailable.

3. The service

Peptidia is an educational reference application about peptide research, with a wellness journal and an AI assistant grounded in our curated library. Peptidia does not:

  • Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Generate personalized peptide stacks, dose calculators, cycle plans, or protocols.
  • Sell, ship, or facilitate the purchase of any peptide.
  • Establish a clinician–patient relationship.

See our Disclaimer for the full medical-disclaimer text.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials private. We support Sign in with Apple, Google OAuth, email magic links, and email/password sign-in. Password authentication is handled by Supabase; Peptidia does not receive or store plaintext passwords.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the iOS app. In-app deletion begins immediately and removes your user-owned content. Limited de-identified security records and transaction records that Apple, a payment processor, or Peptidia must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes may remain for the applicable retention period.

5. Subscription, billing, and refunds

The contracting merchant is DR DAVE INC..

  • Civic address: 2556 Ch. du Parc, Orford, QC J1X 7A2
  • Telephone: +14382554565
  • Email: support@peptidia.app

Peptidia Pro Monthly is a one-month auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple In-App Purchase through your Apple Account. The live price and currency displayed in Apple's purchase flow before confirmation apply. A one-time Founding lifetime purchase may also be offered while the limited launch allocation remains; it is non-renewing. Peptidia offers no annual subscription or free trial.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription via iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep full access until then.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Peptidia in any way that violates applicable law.
  • Attempt to bypass the paywall, scrape content, or reverse-engineer the app or our API.
  • Submit content (e.g., AI assistant prompts, journal entries) intended to extract or generate prescribing-style guidance, child-relevant dosing, or other prohibited output.
  • Use the AI assistant for automated bulk querying.
  • Resell or redistribute Peptidia content (mechanism descriptions, evidence summaries) without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

All Peptidia content (text, design, code, library entries, AI assistant outputs) is owned by Peptidia or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Peptidia for your own non-commercial purposes while your account is in good standing.

You retain ownership of content you submit (journal entries, AI prompts). By submitting, you grant us a license to store and display that content within Peptidia for the purpose of providing the service to you.

8. AI assistant

The AI assistant is grounded in our peptide library and refuses certain categories of questions (specific dosing, prescribing-style requests, pediatric and pregnancy-related queries, cancer-cure claims, requests for medical diagnosis). The assistant's output is informational and is not medical advice. Verify important claims against the cited sources and a licensed clinician.

9. Disclaimer of warranties; mandatory warranties preserved

Except for warranties, guarantees, and consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, PEPTIDIA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peptidia disclaims other express, implied, or statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any legal warranty, guarantee, right, or remedy that applies under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, the Civil Code of Québec, or another mandatory law. No research database, AI output, or digital service can be guaranteed complete, current, or suitable for a personal medical decision.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEPTIDIA AND ITS PRINCIPALS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF PEPTIDIA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID PEPTIDIA IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) CAD $100.

These exclusions and the cap apply only to claims that may lawfully be limited. They do not exclude or limit liability for intentional or gross fault; bodily or moral injury; Peptidia's own act or the act of its representative where applicable law prohibits that limitation; or any mandatory consumer, privacy, or other statutory right or remedy. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular limitations; in those jurisdictions, the limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Peptidia against a third-party claim and the reasonable, direct costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement, but only to the extent directly caused by your intentional unlawful use of Peptidia or your material breach of these Terms. You have no obligation to indemnify Peptidia for Peptidia's own act or fault, ordinary good-faith use of the service, or your exercise of a consumer, privacy, or other legal right. Peptidia will promptly notify you of a covered claim and will not settle it in a way that admits your liability without your consent, not to be unreasonably withheld.

12. Termination

You may stop using Peptidia at any time. You may manage or cancel a monthly subscription using the plainly named in-app button or at Apple's subscription-management page. Cancellation is governed by the purchase terms and applicable law and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid period. Deleting your Peptidia account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription; the app warns you of this before deletion.

Peptidia may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, a material security threat, unlawful use, or when required by law. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy a curable breach. We will not unilaterally cancel a fixed-term service contract involving sequential performance except where applicable law permits it. If an applicable monthly service is characterized as an indeterminate-term service contract involving sequential performance and you are not in default, Peptidia will give at least 60 days' written notice before merchant-initiated cancellation. Termination does not remove any refund, cancellation, data-access, or other mandatory right. Provisions that by their nature must survive—including intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, lawful liability limitations, dispute terms, and accrued rights—remain in effect.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without depriving you of mandatory protections that apply where you live. A dispute may be brought before a court or tribunal that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms restricts a Quebec consumer's right to bring a proceeding in the district determined by mandatory consumer-protection law.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and Peptidia may try in good faith to resolve the issue by contacting support@peptidia.app, but doing so is not a condition where the law permits immediate recourse.

14. Arbitration and class proceedings

Peptidia does not require a consumer dispute to be submitted to arbitration, restrict a consumer's access to a court, prohibit a class action, or deprive a consumer of the right to be a member of a class. No mandatory arbitration clause or class-action waiver applies to Quebec consumers. After a dispute has arisen, the parties may separately and voluntarily agree to mediation or arbitration where permitted by law.

15. Changes

Peptidia may publish revised Terms prospectively, but changing this page does not by itself amend an existing consumer contract. Peptidia does not rely on these Terms for a right to amend your existing consumer contract unilaterally. A contractual amendment requires your express agreement unless a separate mechanism specifically permitted by applicable law applies; in that case, every mandatory notice, refusal, rescission, and no-cost cancellation right remains available. A price or subscription change processed by Apple remains subject to Apple's required notice or consent flow and applicable law. The "Last updated" date identifies the current published version, and an update does not remove rights that have already accrued.
