Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-27

Draft pending review by a Quebec-licensed lawyer. Final ToS will be reviewed before public launch.

1. Acceptance

By creating a Peptidia account or using the iOS app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Peptidia.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Peptidia. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older. Peptidia is not intended for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or active cancer; if you indicate any of these conditions during onboarding, certain features will be unavailable.

3. The service

Peptidia is an educational reference application about peptide research, with a wellness journal and an AI assistant grounded in our curated library. Peptidia does not:

  • Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Generate personalized peptide stacks, dose calculators, cycle plans, or protocols.
  • Sell, ship, or facilitate the purchase of any peptide.
  • Establish a clinician–patient relationship.

See our Disclaimer for the full medical-disclaimer text.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials private. We use Sign in with Apple, Google OAuth, and email magic links — we never see or store passwords.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the iOS app. Account deletion purges your data within 30 days.

5. Subscription, billing, and refunds

Peptidia Pro is a monthly subscription processed by Apple In-App Purchase through your Apple ID. Pricing is shown in the App Store at the time of purchase ($4.99 USD / month at launch, with a 3-day free trial; pricing may change with notice).

  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription via iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep Pro access until then.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Peptidia in any way that violates applicable law.
  • Attempt to bypass the paywall, scrape content, or reverse-engineer the app or our API.
  • Submit content (e.g., AI assistant prompts, journal entries) intended to extract or generate prescribing-style guidance, child-relevant dosing, or other prohibited output.
  • Use the AI assistant for automated bulk querying.
  • Resell or redistribute Peptidia content (mechanism descriptions, evidence summaries) without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

All Peptidia content (text, design, code, library entries, AI assistant outputs) is owned by Peptidia or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Peptidia for your own non-commercial purposes while your account is in good standing.

You retain ownership of content you submit (journal entries, AI prompts). By submitting, you grant us a license to store and display that content within Peptidia for the purpose of providing the service to you.

8. AI assistant

The AI assistant is grounded in our peptide library and refuses certain categories of questions (specific dosing, prescribing-style requests, pediatric and pregnancy-related queries, cancer-cure claims, requests for medical diagnosis). The assistant's output is informational and is not medical advice. Verify important claims against the cited sources and a licensed clinician.

9. Disclaimers

PEPTIDIA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEPTIDIA AND ITS PRINCIPALS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF PEPTIDIA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID PEPTIDIA IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) CAD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peptidia from any claim arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of Peptidia in a way that causes harm to others.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Peptidia at any time for material breach of these Terms. You may stop using Peptidia at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of Montreal, Quebec, unless required otherwise by mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and noted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
