Peptidia and PubMed are complements, not substitutes. Peptidia summarizes a selected peptide evidence record and makes maturity, uncertainty, and review dates legible. PubMed is the larger biomedical literature search system and is the right place to inspect indexed papers directly or run a broader search.

Ce qui compte

  • Use Peptidia for a structured orientation to a peptide topic.
  • Use PubMed to inspect indexed papers and broaden the literature search.
  • Inclusion in PubMed is not a verdict that a claim is correct.
  • A strong workflow begins with a map and ends at the original research.

Peptidia reduces orientation cost

A Peptidia profile groups mechanism, human evidence, negative findings, regulatory context, and uncertainty into an editorial record. The Evidence Passport states the strongest source tier and when the record was reviewed.

That structure helps readers avoid treating every indexed paper as equivalent. It remains a curated layer, so it cannot promise exhaustive coverage of every publication.

PubMed provides breadth and inspectability

PubMed is maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and contains citations and abstracts across biomedical literature. It is the better tool for constructing a search, checking related work, and finding the record for an original publication.

PubMed explains that inclusion does not mean the National Library of Medicine endorses a paper’s contents. Study quality still has to be assessed.

Use a two-pass workflow

Start with Peptidia to identify the evidence stage, important limitations, and anchor sources. Then open those sources in PubMed, read the abstract and full text where available, inspect related papers, and search for newer or conflicting work.

When a health decision depends on the answer, bring the original evidence and its limitations to a licensed healthcare provider.
